Libertarians fail again!

Postby -|DDA|-Chicken on Sat Sep 06, 2008 12:42 am

Lately I've considered voting for the Libertarian party's candidate, Bob Barr. This was due to the fact that;

a.) Dr. Ron Paul has dropped out
b.) I figured of all the possibilities, at the very least the Libertarian Party's candidate would protect civil liberties.

For some reason though, I just could not come to even remotely trust the former representative from Georgia. Not even "political trust," which is like trusting the drug dealer won't shoot me in the face tonight. His voting record certainly played into it, despite the fact that he seemed to have had a complete 180 on the issues that bothered me the most. His recent interviews that I've seen and his recent attempt to sue churches was a turn off.

Looks like my Chicken's intuition was right.

Now his idiot running mate, Wayne Allen Root (W.A.R. for short), ran his mouth once again. He decides to attack Senator Obama, not on his policy stances or votes in the Senate, but that he didn't know who he was at Columbia, even though they were in the same class of '83, political science, pre-law Columbia. I shit you not. He then goes on to bet 1 million dollars that he's smarter than Senator Obama. This is someone who is running for the second most powerful position in the world folks... what a damn shame.

NOTE TO PZ: READ THESE - YOU'LL LOVE THEM!

A hilarious article concerning it:

The Libertarian Party has yet again, failed.

Alrighty then.

I seriously thought that article was a joke, but then I kept reading and realized it wasn't a joke.
Why vote for Libertarians? Might as well vote for Martians. Libertarians are Republicans who smoke dope, but apparently not this guy.

Definitely a zoomdweebie.
